The first in a series of three EPs that I recorded called the "Sessions EPs". The idea is to showcase a studios local talent and sound utilizing my songwriting as the static backdrop for the production and musicians to show through.

Type Foundry Sessions EP was recorded at Type Foundry Studios in Portland, OR in three days in August 2001 and mixed in one day in September 2001. Adam Selzer and Jason Powers engineered and recorded all the songs. Rachel Blumberg sang backup vocals on On the Moon. Michael Ismerio played drums on all the songs with drums on them. Zach Moran played bass on all the songs that have bass on them. Owen Patrick played guitar on all the songs except Inmate’s Letter to Rilke. Jeffrey Underhill sang back-up vocals on Wind is Warm and played organ and piano on all the songs except Inmate’s Letter to Rilke. Doug Shepherd sang, played guitar, piano and tambourine.
